Pre-Conference Sessions

We’ve created five exciting half-day sessions on Sunday, June 23, designed to offer teams of leaders and teachers targeted support for transformation in key areas of need. Plus, pre-cons are a great primer for the MSC main event, offering helpful context and focus for the days of professional learning ahead, for $395 per attendee.

  • Culture, Compassion, and Competence: Leading the Unpredictable

Principals, Assistant Principals and teacher leaders regularly face a wide variety of unpredictable challenges such as transient populations, teacher shortages, the influence of AI, and many other obstacles. Tackling these head-on challenges require a strong culture, compassionate leaders, and competency instructional change agents. When a school/district culture is purposeful, productive, and joyous, learning prospers, and each student receives what they need to succeed in life. Join this preconference to re-energize your skills with strategies for positive change, regardless of the barriers that currently exist.

  • Focusing on Instruction

Are your students engaged in learning? Regularly? Let's explore how to engross the variety of minds sitting before you on a given day. How you engage students on a Monday morning compared to a Thursday afternoon may look much different (and require much more caffeine). In this interactive preconference, you will take a deep dive into engagement strategies in order to lay the foundation for rigorous and relevant instruction. Join this immersive experience where engagement and instructional strategies will be modeled.
